1. Launch the App

After installation, tap the GolfDayBuddy icon on your home screen. You’ll be greeted with the splash screen, followed by the main Home Page.

2. Navigate the App

At the bottom of your screen, you’ll find the Main Menu with four options:

• Home
• List
• Map
• About

3. Home Page – Quick Access to Features

The Home Page gives you two large, easy-to-tap icons:

• View Tournaments List
• Open the Map View
  Tap either to start exploring tournaments.

4. View Tournaments List

In the List Page, you can:

1. See tournament details displayed in 3 columns:
   • Club Logo
   • Tournament Information
   • ‘More Info’ Button
2. Tap the More Info Button to get detailed information about a specific event, including dates, location, and contact details.
3. Sort the List by:
   • Club
   • Date
   • Golf Union
   • City
4. Use the search bar to find specific tournaments or clubs by name.

5. Use the Interactive Map

Navigate to the Map Page to see tournament locations on a Google Map. Features include:

• Clustered Markers: Zoom in to reveal events near you.
• Location-Based Search: Search by club, city, union, or province.
• Tap on a Marker to view tournament details directly from the map.

6. Learn More About GolfDayBuddy

Visit the About Page to:

• View the GolfDayBuddy About Info.
• Stay updated with the latest news and events.

7. Customize Your Experience

• Exit Notice: When you try to close the app, you’ll see a prompt to confirm before exiting to avoid accidental closures.
• Search & Filter Options: Use various search filters to quickly find events that match your criteria.

8. Plan Your Golf Day

Once you’ve found the tournaments you want to attend:

1. Note the date and time.
2. Contact the organizer for more details or registrations.
3. Use the map to plan your route to the event location.
